Is there an all you can drink option and is it possible to reserve the whole bar for private parties/functions etc?

What are payment structures?
There is no entry fee or time charge. However a table fee of 1500 yen per person (1000 yen for minors) and a 10% service fee will be charged.
Can I touch or hold the reptiles?
It depends on the species and temperament of the animal. Signs on displays indicate which reptile can be touched/held.
Can I take pictures?
Yes, you can. However, please do not use flash.
Can I bring children to the bar?
Yes, you can bring your children as the bar is all smoke free.
I have allergies, can I eat insect foods?
You may have a reaction if you are allergic to shellfish.
Can I smoke?
Our bar is a smoke free environment for the protection of our animals. If you wish to smoke please ask our staff as we do have a designated smoking area separate to our displays and away from other customers.
Can I purchase reptiles?
Yes as the bar is owned by reptiles, amphibian and worms speciality shop Tropical Gem. You are also able to see animals from Tropical Gem and purchase them at the bar.
What are the benefits/disadvantages of insect foods?
Main benefit of insect foods is that they are highly nutritious and eco friendly. Therefore, they are being coined the term “food of the future”. A disadvantage is that for some they appear grotesque looking and difficult to see as a food source for humans. Furthermore there are concerns of parasites and pathogens. However, insect food produced for human consumption is free of any nasties and you can cook and view them the same you do meat and fish.
